The RPG Hearts datapack adds in the ability to increase your max health! By simply killing hostile mobs, you have a chance to get a Heart of Life to drop, which will increase your max health permanently! Through this, your max health can be set to as high as 20 hearts (40 health)
When you first join a world, your hearts will be set to 1 (2 Health) and finding hearts will be very quick! But, if you don't want to start at 1 Heart, you can use the trigger command "/trigger heart" to bring up a menu with some options, including the ability to manually set your max health!
Note that you can only find Hearts of Life from hostile mobs, so no chickens or cows. The more hearts you find, the rarer they become! The final heart has a 1% chance of dropping!
